Social networks of SoMExNet
Through SomexNet, the aim is to promote and facilitate the Erasmus+ mobilities of students and trainers of Education and Vocational Training, as well as those of construction workers.
This is the continuation of the project Social Media in Exchanges (Somex), also coordinated by Ifapme and participated by the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, among other institutions. This first part, which began in October 2014 and ended in August 2017, has been focused on the development of an application for mobile devices aimed at facilitating and improving the exchanges and mobilities of students and trainers of Vocational Education and Training, and the displacement of workers in the construction sector in Europe.
For its part, "SomexNet, Network enhancing the SoMEx App", is a project that proposes to implement an extensive support process for the first phase, through the development of a platform to expand the number of institutions that use the application and, therefore, the number of mobility exchanges in Europe. In this way, the overall objective of increasing the mobility of young workers in the construction sector in the European labor market will be achieved.
The set of tools and other materials that will be created will be available in all the languages of the partners, since they will be used by consortium partners in the six participating countries, seeking to make the tool a reference for European mobility in the Construction industry.
